Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled Chatbot Frontend Developer to design and develop a custom web-based chatbot widget that will be embedded on our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in building responsive and user-friendly chatbot interfaces. Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop a custom web-based chatbot widget that meets arenaflex's branding and styling requirements
- Create a user-friendly interface with features such as a chat window, message bubbles, user input field, send button, and support for basic styling/branding
- Ensure the chatbot frontend communicates seamlessly with our existing backend (Flask app) via REST API or WebSocket
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure the chatbot widget works well on desktop and mobile devices
- Develop a clean and efficient codebase using a modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular, or similar) or vanilla JS
- Provide brief instructions on how to embed and configure the widget
- Collaborate with our development team to ensure a smooth and successful deployment
Essential Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in building chatbot interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar) or vanilla JS
- Proficiency in REST API or WebSocket communication
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Flask or similar backend frameworks
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and human-centered design
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies
