Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Transferring data from paper formats, recorders, or scanners to digital formats
- Entering data into databases, records, and files with accuracy and speed
- Handling numerical data and creating spreadsheets
- Organizing and curating large datasets
- Updating databases and records with new information
- Correcting and modifying inaccurate files and records
- Maintaining data confidentiality and security
- Verifying data by checking and comparing source documentation
- Organizing paper formats and material source files as needed
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in data entry or a related field
- Fast and accurate typing skills (touch typing system preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
