Immediately Need GUEST TEACHER (SUBSTITUTE) in Florida

Job title: GUEST TEACHER (SUBSTITUTE) Company: St. Johns County School District Job description: Comments to applicant: The district is accepting applications for Substitute Guest Teacher positions from applicants who hold an Associate's degree or higher or have completed sixty (60) college semester hours at an accredited institution of higher education and who are 20 years of age or older. Preference will be given to applicants that have graduated or will graduate from an education program. All applicants will be reviewed for strong teaching potential, above-average references, experience in critical need areas, and/or an education degree. Substituting is an ?At Will, As Needed? position; however, we seek substitutes who are willing and able to work consistently. This position pays $15 hour. Applications must have TWO completed references. You can upload a reference letter dated no older than two years or select the e-reference to be sent to the email address of the person(s) you provide. You are responsible for checking your application to ensure that your references uploaded or completed the e- reference survey. Applicants selected for an interview will be sent an email through the AppliTrack application system to schedule an interview appointment that week. More information will be shared as applicants go through the process. Applicants not selected will also be notified by email via AppliTrack. All applicants selected from the interview process will complete one (1) day of unpaid training provided by the district. Applicants without prior instructional experience will be required to complete an additional day of job shadowing which is also unpaid. The first opportunity to work will occur after completion of pre-employment and training.
