What You'll Be Doing

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts. This may include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries about products, services, and policies
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing product information, recommendations, and promotions to customers
  • Collaborating with customers to resolve issues and improve their overall experience
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and feedback

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service via live chat, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for customers

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, using provided product knowledge and resources

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., customer service, business, communications) an asset

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
