Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming patients in person and over the phone, maintaining patient charts, processing patient orders, creating delivery tickets, and coordinating scheduling.
  • Working one on one with patients to educate them on the uses and directions of prescribed medical equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other referral sources to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Completing intake, insurance verification, and determining charges and coverage for service/product requested.
  • Collecting co-pays and inputting payment data.
  • Collecting compliant medical documentation for insurance invoices.
  • Maintaining work operations by following company policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent (Required)

  • Excellent phone and customer service skills (Required)
  • Strong Communication skills (Required)
  • Two years of HME/DME experience and knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)
  • Previous data entry experience (Preferred)
  • Health Insurance

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, billing, and medical office settings

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billing procedures
  • Experience working with CPAP and Oxygen equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
