Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative on our 2nd shift team, you'll be responsible for:

• Greeting customers and providing exceptional service, both in-store and on the phone
• Operating the register, handling cash and credit transactions, and making change
• Making purchase suggestions and promoting products to customers
• Working with our food program and other in-store initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, both inside and out
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve daily goals and objectives
• Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure seamless customer service

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and sales
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a willingness to think creatively and offer solutions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
• Physical stamina to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending, twisting, and grasping
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong motivation to advance in your career

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

• Retail and customer service experience, with a focus on sales and teamwork
• Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and basic business principles
• Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

To perform the essential functions of this role, you'll need to be able to:

• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional bending, twisting, and grasping
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, with occasional use of a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs

Hiring Range

The hiring range for this role is $16.00 to $16.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
