Direct Response Copywriter

Job Title: Direct Response Copywriter (E-commerce & Funnels) We are looking for a sharp, conversion-obsessed Direct Response Copywriter to join our team. This isn’t a role for "brand" writers who focus on vibes and aesthetics; we need a strategist who lives for the click, the add-to-cart, and the "Thank You" page. You will be responsible for crafting high-stakes, long-form sales letters and architecting the flow of our sales funnels. Whether we are selling health-related products or digital courses (like breathwork), your goal is the same: deeply understand the human on the other side of the screen and compel them to take action. The Core Mission- Master the Long-Form: Research and write high-converting, text-based sales letters (VSLs/TSLs) that keep readers hooked from the hook to the close.
- Funnel Architecture: Think beyond the page. You’ll help design the customer journey, identifying the psychological triggers needed to move a prospect through a multi-step funnel.
- Revenue Optimization: You aren’t just a writer; you’re a growth strategist. You will ideate and package offers, bumps, and upsells to maximize Conversion Rates and Average Order Value (AOV).
- Customer Empathy & Research: Get into the weeds of customer psychology. You should be comfortable (and eager) to jump on the phone with customers to uncover their true pain points, desires, and the "why" behind their purchase.
- Proven DR Track Record: You have a portfolio of text-based sales letters and funnel copy that actually generated revenue.
- Strategic Mindset: You understand how to bundle products and create "irresistible offers" that make it a no-brainer for the customer to buy.
- Versatility: You can pivot your tone from "food as medicine" health solutions to personal development or performance courses (e.g., breathwork) without losing efficacy.
- Analytical Curiosity: You don’t just write and forget; you look at the data, see where people are dropping off, and suggest pivots.
- Ad Experience (Bonus): If you can write the Facebook/Instagram/YouTube ads that feed the funnel, you’ll be a top-tier candidate.
- Writing long-form sales pages, landing pages, and email sequences.
- Designing and testing upsell/downsell flows to boost AOV.
- Conducting deep-dive market research and customer interviews.
- Collaborating with the media buying team to ensure copy alignment from ad to offer.
