Job title: Health Fitness Professional Company: Health Fitness Job description: If you have a passion for empowering others in their journey to better health, come join our team as a Health Fitness Professional in Vernon Hills, IL Weekdays & onsite in corporate fitness As a full-time Health Fitness Professional, you'll make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our members through the coordination, implementation, and delivery of health and fitness improvement programs and services, promotions and outreach activities. You will be responsible for providing outstanding service to members & program participants to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. The HFP provides facility supervision, recreation leagues oversight, personal training, group exercise classes, customer service, safety monitoring, and fitness assessments. Other duties as needed/assigned. Monday-Friday 11-7PM. What you?ll bring with you:

• Bachelor?s degree in a related field (Kinesiology, Exercise Science, etc.) or 1+ years of fitness and wellness industry experience along with industry certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider.
• Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.
• Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA required within 6 months.
• Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider required within 6 months.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook.
