Job title: Health Fitness Professional (part-time) Company: Health Fitness Job description: Health Fitness Professional - Palm Beach, FL Part-time, 10-20hrs/wk Schedule will vary; facility hours: M-F 6:30am-8:00pm/Sat-Sun 8:00am-6:00pm HealthFitness is looking for a Health Fitness Professional to join the fitness team at our community client site in Palm Beach, FL. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service while overseeing the Fitness Center and assisting with Recreation operations. You will also provide personal training to members and guests. What you'll be doing

• Supervises facility; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Provides personal training.
• Coordinates and leads a variety of HealthFitness and program-specific health improvement programs & promotions.
• Conducts fitness testing and assessments and advises participants of results; designs individualized programs to meet the participant?s interests, abilities and goals.
• Researches health & fitness educational topics and identifies appropriate participant educational materials; conducts health education seminars/presentations.
• Participates in membership drives to acquire new participants; enrolls new participants and conducts facility, program and equipment orientations.
• Promotes program offerings and conducts outreach activities to increase participation and re-engage inactive participants.
• Creates and maintains bulletin boards, newsletters and other marketing & communication materials.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you?ll bring with you:

• Bachelor?s degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, or related discipline required; 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word/Powerpoint/Excel and/or Google Docs/Powerpoint/Sheets.
