Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate I, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with questions, recommendations, and concerns in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
  • Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to arenaflex's security protocols
  • Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment
  • Receiving merchandise, helping with unloading trucks, and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
  • Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect among customers, associates, and leaders
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, visual merchandising, inventory management, and special projects

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Associate I, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred)
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
  • Physical stamina to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:
