• Teach District-approved curriculum through both direct and inquiry-based instruction.

• Maintains accurate records in a manner consistent with state and federal law as required by the District, to include student accommodations as specified in 504 plans and IEPs
• Communicate frequently with parents and guardians by such means as conferences, newsletters, notes, telephone calls, and email ? both during and outside the school day.
• Participate in continual professional growth opportunities which are aligned with school and District priorities.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a department/grade level
• Participates in District level staff meetings, in-service activities, staff development/special programs, school improvement teams and planning committees as appropriate to the assignment.
