The Role
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk – Typist, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of our team by entering, verifying, and maintaining accurate records across multiple databases and systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Entering, updating, and maintaining records in company systems with 100% accuracy
- Typing reports, correspondence, and other documents as directed
- Verifying data against source documents to ensure correctness
- Managing and organizing digital files for easy accessibility
- Meeting daily and weekly data entry/typing quotas
- Communicating with internal teams regarding incomplete or unclear information
- Upholding company standards for confidentiality and data security
- Providing regular updates on progress and completed tasks
- Troubleshooting and resolving basic formatting or data-related issues
Key Responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications

Required:
+ Minimum typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy + Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace + Excellent organizational and communication skills + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred:
+ Previous data entry or clerical experience (remote or in-office) + Familiarity with CRM systems or database platforms + High school diploma (associate degree a plus)
Compensation & Salary
We are committed to fair and competitive pay:
- Hourly Pay: $19–$24 per hour (based on experience)
- Weekly Earnings Potential: $760–$960 for a 40-hour week
- Annual Equivalent: $39,000–$50,000+
- Performance Incentives: Accuracy bonuses and productivity rewards
- Payment Method: Bi-weekly direct deposit
