Overview
Our client is seeking a talented Asset Finance Associate to join a high-performing finance team supporting complex, high-value transactions across a diverse client base. This role offers exposure to both domestic and international matters, working with financial institutions and corporate borrowers across a range of sectors.
You will play a key role in delivering commercially focused legal advice while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of a collaborative, nationally integrated team.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of asset finance and leasing transactions, including finance leasing, receivables finance, and debt finance.
- Support complex transactions involving vendor finance, lease book acquisitions, and structuring matters.
- Work across a wide range of asset classes, including transport, energy, industrial equipment, and technology assets.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices and disciplines to deliver integrated legal solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contributing to high levels of client satisfaction.
- Support business development activities, including networking, client engagement, and training delivery.
- Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the wider finance and projects team.
- Engage in continuous professional development through structured training, mentoring, and leadership programmes.
Requirements
Essential Experience & Skills
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in asset finance or related finance law.
- Strong experience advising on asset finance transactions, including leasing and debt structures.
- Ability to work on complex, multi-party transactions across sectors.
