- Designs/Teaches classes
- Designs routines and combinations, to include proper warm
- Tracks class participation statistics for aerobic classes, pool use and multi-purpose room use.
- Room Setup/Cleanup
- Sets up rooms with appropriate training apparatus; including stereo and microphone equipment if appropriate. Maintains a clean, safe workout environment. Cleans up room and equipment after class.
- Hold and maintain a NCCA accredited certification in the format taught, such as American Council on Exercise (ACE), Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA), or American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) fitness certification;
- Some positions may require additional certification;
- Prior aerobic instruction and/or dance experience;
- BLS HeartCode or CPR/AED Certification required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- BS in exercise science or related field.
- Two years experience in the fitness industry.
- First Aid certification.
