Responsibilities of the Customer Service Store Clerk

As a Customer Service Store Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Extending a warm and welcoming reception to patrons and providing assistance with any inquiries regarding products or guiding them to the desired merchandise.
  • Efficiently handling cash register responsibilities, ensuring correct payment processing, and delivering accurate transaction records.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, managing donations as they arrive, and issuing receipts to donors and customers.
  • Completing sales, managing the register, and supporting patrons to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve sales goals, maintain store appearance, and provide exceptional customer service.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with regular breaks as needed.

* Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
