As a key member of our Data and Analytics group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of sports data distributed across various arenaflex platforms. Key Responsibilities

* Guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of sports data distributed by the Data and Analytics team, including scores, schedules, standings, and statistics.

• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver accurate and detailed data analysis, clock-and-score, and other metrics that power various arenaflex products and productions.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Data and Analytics team's role in fueling arenaflex's digital and television products.
• Verify the results of your own work and that of others, performing with a consistently high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Contribute to production, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, and support newsroom leaders who are coordinating full-time and part-time staff.
• Anticipate potential issues, both daily and long-term, and propose likely solutions, communicating rapidly and clearly with stakeholders on these issues.
• Play a proactive role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes.
• Be an active participant in team and department meetings, seeking and responding to feedback around individual performance.
• Stay informed about current departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

* Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports.

• Full schedule availability, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports data that powers arenaflex's digital and television products.
• Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments.
• Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in a fast-paced and dynamic newsroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience working in sports or statistics, ideally in media.

• Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and for research purposes.
• Working knowledge of arenaflex products and productions.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Ability to speak and write Spanish.
• Experience using social media in a business or news environment.

Education Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
