Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Virtual Customer Support Specialist, you'll work from the comfort of your own home, providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, or chat, resolving complex issues and navigating challenging situations.

  • Utilize a computer to access customer information and resources, applying critical thinking to each caller's situation while following documented processes and procedures.
  • Advocate for each caller, providing accurate information and unbiased advice while overcoming common challenges such as customer frustration, pushback, and emotional impact.
  • Communicate effectively with callers and other team members, as well as leadership, to ensure seamless collaboration and resolution of issues.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple levels of support (Tier 2, Tier 3) to resolve caller's concerns and provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new processes and procedures as needed.
  • Complete other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent; a college degree or some college coursework is preferred.

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience providing customer support and dealing with complex situations, preferably regarding various types of fraud.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Technical ability to effectively utilize a computer to access customer information and resources.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to each caller's situation while following documented processes and procedures.
  • Ability to advocate for each caller while providing accurate information and unbiased advice.
  • Ability to overcome common challenges Customer Support Specialists face (customer frustration, customer pushback, emotional impact, dealing with unknown situations).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a virtual environment, with a strong understanding of remote work tools and technologies.

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:
