Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Database Management and Customer Service

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a fully remote basis within the USA. As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for configuring database tables, coordinating with internal departments, and analyzing user requirements to determine database customization strategies. You'll also be conducting quality assurance tests, identifying data trends, and recommending effective solutions to restaurant operators. Responsibilities:

* Configures database tables in support of the restaurant point of sale (pricing, menu) and back office systems (inventory)

• Coordinates with internal departments such as Operations, Franchise, Finance, Marketing, and R&D to ensure timely and accurate data requirements
• Analyzes user requirements to determine database customization strategy and order entry flow
• Conducts quality assurance tests on database changes to ensure user requirements are met prior to submission to restaurants
• Identifies data trends or issues and recommends effective solutions relating to restaurant systems
• Communicates with restaurant operators to ensure accurate and timely data entry
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of database changes and user requirements

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, information technology, business administration)

• Up to one year of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn routine assignments of limited scope and complexity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build stable internal working relationships and communicate effectively with supervisors, project leads, and other professionals
• Proficiency in database management systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and data quality

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Knowledge of restaurant point of sale systems and back office systems
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g. Certified Data Entry Specialist)
