This individual will provide speech/language services for students with disabilities in various special education classifications. Assess and support students with disabilities for initial placement, progress monitoring, and/or re-evaluation purposes. Write evaluation reports and read, write, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Maintain session notes and any other required documents for the purpose of Medicaid billing. Participate in team meetings, write progress notes, and participate in professional development opportunities as they become available. Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required. Must have or be eligible for appropriate certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Consults frequently with school personnel and parents as to the individual student's progress.
