PACS IT Implementation Specialist
Position DetailsSchedule/Shift: Day/1st Shift Employment Type: Full-time (30+ hrs/week)/FULLTIME Location City: Remote Work Location Type: Remote POSITION SUMMARY: The PACS IT Implementation Specialist will work closely with the Manager of IT Implementations, Implementation Application Specialists, Radiology Partners Operations, RP Regional Support Teams and their Facilities. This position will most likely require up to 75% travel, as they will support either new physician practices or sites across our national practice. Excellent communication skills, organization and a deep understanding of PACS, DICOM and Radiology technical workflow will be necessary to be successful in this position. They will report to the IT Manager PACS, Implementation but will work closely with the other IT Services Lanes and Operations as well. Position requires 30 - 50% travel on average. - Responsible for PACS configuration and deployment for the integration of sites onto Radiology Partners Clinical Systems.
- Will include deployment, QA, troubleshooting PACS RP Cloud applications, PACS performance at new installations and coordinating training with Regional IT resources.
- Accountable for performing specific PACS tasks in bringing Full Practice IT Implementations and New Sites to RP's Clinical Environment, meeting agreed upon timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Proactive communication with IT Implementation Team Project Managers, IT Implementation Application Specialists, local practice resources, client resources and vendors with project status, blockers and scope changes.
- Deliver the prescribed PACS workflow, 3rd Party Imaging Applications, DICOM Routers, Launching of Site PACS from RP worklist, and other special projects as designated
- Bachelor's Degree preferred 4-10 years of PACS Administration, preferably in supporting Radiologists directly
- PACS and Radiology experience required for this role
- Position requires 30 - 75% travel.
