Need Injury Prevention Professional - substitute in Allentown, PA

We are seeking a talented substitute Injury Prevention Professional at our client site in Allentown, PA! In this position, you will support the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness. This position will support vacation coverage of a full-time employee for several days / weeks as needed or scheduled in advance. Hours of operation are 6:00am-7:00pm. This role is flexible for any 8-hour daytime shift. Your impact within this team:

• Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education and training.
• Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
• Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
• Develop, promote and market wellness and general education programs.
• Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor?s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.
• Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.
• 2-3 years experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred.
• Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
• Demonstrated experience in documenting injuries and support injury prevention.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
