We provide an in-depth ABA training to assist with growth and knowledge of the field and providing impeccable services to our families. The hourly pay rate starts at $20/hour and onwards based on experience in the field, plus paid training, and the opportunity to earn up to $4000.00 in incentive bonuses per year. We have cases available in the Castle Rock, CO area. Key provides services for children on the autism spectrum directly under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). This position is working in-home implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy and counselling programs established by a BCBA. Depending on your location, most of the cases are after school hours, so you must have a flexible schedule for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Behavior Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Provide one on one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
• Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors
• Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
• Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
• 1-year ABA Experience
• If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients

Behavior Technician Physical Requirements :

• Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
• Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
• Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
• Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
