On-Call Remote Integrative & Holistic Veterinary Receptionist About Chronos Chronos is a high-end remote veterinary support service partnering with veterinary practices nationwide. We specialize in providing exceptional client communication and operational support so veterinary teams can focus on patient care. We are currently seeking an experienced Integrative and Holistic Veterinary Receptionist to join our on-call remote team. Position Overview This is a remote, on-call position with variable hours based on coverage needs. As an Integrative Veterinary Receptionist, you will serve as a primary point of contact for pet owners, supporting multiple veterinary hospitals with scheduling, client communication, and administrative tasks. You will collaborate closely with both our internal remote team and our client practices to ensure seamless, compassionate service. On-call shifts include an additional disbursement fee added to your hourly wage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, text messages, and emails for multiple veterinary hospitals
  • Schedule appointments and address client inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintain accurate client and medical records with strict confidentiality
  • Process payments and assist with billing as needed
  • Collaborate with veterinary teams to support smooth daily operations
  • Provide knowledgeable support in integrative and holistic veterinary care settings Integrative Experience Candidates should be familiar with integrative therapies, including but not limited to:
  • Herbal medicine
  • TCVM-oriented acupuncture
  • Ozone therapy
  • Microbiome and whole food therapy
  • Photobiomodulation (PBM) or cold laser
  • Non-Chinese herbal supplements Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of veterinary employment experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist or assistant working under an Integrative Veterinarian
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish fluency preferred (spoken and written)
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing high call volumes across multiple hospitals
  • Attention to fine detail when it comes to record-keeping Availability
  • Ability to work on-call shifts Sunday through Saturday
  • Shifts may occur between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM EST Technical Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 9 Mbps upload required (speed test verification needed) Position Details

  • On-call hours across U.S. time zones
