What You'll Do

As an integral member of our Financial Planning Systems team, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our financial operations running smoothly. Here's what you can expect in this role:

• Application Support: Support the Hyperion planning application on a continuous basis for budget and actual financials, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
• Data Validation: Validate data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators, meticulously reviewing financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• System Maintenance: Support system maintenance activities and maintain user permissions, ensuring proper access controls and system security.
• User Support: Support clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models, providing exceptional technical assistance and guidance.
• Financial Analysis: Assist with the preparation of in-depth scenario and cause-and-effect analyses on various complex financial issues and competitive industry investigations.
• Process Coordination: Coordinate and complete the monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion, working closely with HR and Finance teams.
• System Updates: Update Hyperion Planning with organizational changes; coordinate hierarchy changes with Regulators and GL organization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate with working groups to determine reporting business requirements; propose and present efficient solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Development Activities: Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions.

What You'll Need for Success

We're looking for a talented professional who brings a unique blend of finance expertise and technical knowledge. To thrive in this role at arenaflex, you'll need the following:

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training.
• Experience: 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements as well as financial modeling and analysis.
• Technical Background: Strong IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and deployment experience (including Interactive Reporting, Essbase, Planning)
• Advanced certifications in financial planning systems
• Previous experience in the airline or transportation industry
