Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Analyst to join our email marketing team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for building, launching, and refining triggered email communications that enhance customer experiences across our platform. You will define, measure, and iterate on campaigns that drive significant revenue for the business, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer journeys.

What You'll Do

  • Develop Customized Email Campaigns: Create highly tailored, end-to-end email journeys for customer segments critical to arenaflex's business success. Collaborate with key stakeholder teams including Customer Identity, Data Science, and Marketing Technology to ensure campaigns are personalized, relevant, and effective.
  • Analyze Campaign Performance: Utilize arenaflex's advanced in-house measurement capabilities to understand the impact of each customer touchpoint and maximize return on investment. Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across all triggered communications.
  • Drive Channel Execution: Manage end-to-end channel execution and diagnostic analysis through comprehensive investigation. Develop strategic, data-driven solutions for complex business challenges, ensuring campaigns consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Build, iterate, and optimize triggered marketing email communications through collaboration with colleagues and key stakeholder groups, including Creative, Data Science, Advertising Technology, and Engineering teams. Foster strong working relationships to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause investigations and leverage cross-functional partnerships to quickly identify performance issues and recommend actionable solutions. Use findings to inform future campaign strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report and Recommend: Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners. Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and business growth.

What You'll Need

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or other concentrations with a quantitative focus. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in marketing, management consulting, startup/tech environments, finance, and/or strategy. Experience with email marketing platforms and customer journey optimization is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong capability in data analysis with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Passion for identifying patterns and insights within complex datasets. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with email marketing platforms, marketing automation tools, and customer data platforms. Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing meaningful conclusions from analytics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent critical thinking and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to break down complex ideas and articulate them clearly to influence senior-level and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to own and execute solutions to complex issues independently. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-moving atmosphere. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies.

  • Understanding of deliverability best practices and email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or retail marketing environments.

Compensation and Benefits
