The Role

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for responding to presale inquiries by phone, email, and online chat regarding fit, fashion trends/styles, product availability, and specials. You'll guide customers through the ordering procedure online, address post-order inquiries regarding delivery, billing, and shipping, and take advantage of a range of software tools to address client inquiries. You'll also help consumers with both domestic and international concerns by working with outside shipping contractors.

Responsibilities

* Respond to presale inquiries by phone, email, and online chat regarding fit, fashion trends/styles, product availability, and specials

  • Guide customers through the ordering procedure online
  • Address post-order inquiries regarding delivery, billing, and shipping
  • Take advantage of a range of software tools to address client inquiries
  • Help consumers with both domestic and international concerns by working with outside shipping contractors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, fashion trends, and company policies to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries

Requirements

* High school graduation or its equivalent

  • Two or more years of experience in the retail, service, or customer service industries
  • Proficient in basic math with the ability to compute refunds before and after discounts, and apply specified percentages, tiered promotional codes, and partial discounts to orders
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the capacity to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and speech as well as to listen to and interpret customer needs
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities
  • Flexibility with a full-time schedule, including shift assignments on weekends and evenings
  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment while upholding standards for productivity, quality, and service
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer

Preferred Qualifications

* Fluency in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, or Russian

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of luxury fashion brands and trends
  • Experience with software tools such as CRM systems, email management tools, and chat platforms

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $53,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and we offer a range of benefits, including equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
