About The arenaflex+ Product Team
Join our Studio Research and Analysis team, and you'll play a critical role in supporting the arenaflex+ Product, Marketing, and Content Curation teams. We're a group of curious minds who love diving deep into data to uncover meaningful insights that shape product strategy and enhance user experiences. Our work sits at the heart of the aren'taflex+ ecosystem, influencing everything from how users navigate our platform to what content recommendations they receive.
This position reports to our Senior Administrator and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and content strategy. You'll have the opportunity to work with stakeholders at all levels, presenting your findings and recommendations that directly impact how our platform evolves to meet consumer needs.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst supporting arenaflex+ Product and Consumer Experience, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of analytical activities that drive strategic decision-making. Your primary focus will be on arenaflex+ product and consumer experience tracking initiatives, ensuring that our teams have the insights they need to create exceptional user experiences.
- Comprehensive Research Support: Assist with a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection and mapping, extraction and analysis from multiple sources to build comprehensive reports, visualizations, and presentations that tell compelling stories with data.
- Data Integration & Analysis: Join diverse datasets using SQL to support the daily operations of the arenaflex+ client experience tracking project. You'll transform raw data into actionable insights that inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams throughout arenaflex to conduct research, including communicating project goals, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, develop, and enhance our datasets.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and from other departments, as well as external vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Reporting & Insights: Analyze and create ongoing and ad-hoc reports using both quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within product marketing, engagement, and product strategy for arenaflex+ and the arenaflex Streaming Pack.
- Project Management: Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report on task completion and status to supervisors to ensure deliverables are finished within established timeframes.
- Strategic Partnership: Work with the Senior Administrator and team to ensure every deliverable is strategically meaningful and drives informed decision-making across the organization.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and analytical groups within Snowflake and Databricks environments to leverage advanced analytics capabilities.
- Documentation: Maintain exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements, ensuring clarity and consistency across all analytical deliverables.
- Critical Data Requests: Respond to critical data requests from internal clients with speed and accuracy, providing insights that address urgent business questions.
- Presentation & Discussion: Support presentation of findings based on analysis conducted and contribute to related business discussions, translating complex data into understandable recommendations.
- Industry Awareness: Stay at the forefront of SVOD and In-Home industry trends amid an ever-evolving landscape, bringing fresh perspectives and emerging best practices to the team.
Work Arrangement
This is a Hybrid position requiring in-person collaboration from Monday to Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday. This arrangement allows you to benefit from face-to-face teamwork while maintaining flexibility in your workweek.
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
We're seeking a dedicated professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on our company's remarkable legacy while embracing contemporary thinking. The ideal candidate will be passionate about contributing to arenaflex's direct-to-consumer experience through strategic hard work and determination.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field AND 3 years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field AND 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong capability with SQL, with the ability to query and consolidate unique data sources from multiple platforms.
- Data Integration Skills: Ability to extract data and combine with different data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills that enable you to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Capacity to work quickly and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Multitasking: Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and constant change.
Preferred Qualifications
While the following qualifications aren't required, they'll help you stand out and make an immediate impact on our team:
- Proficiency in data processing tools such as SPSS, Q, or MarketSight for advanced statistical analysis.
- Experience with survey tools including Interpret, Qualtrics, or SurveyMonkey for collecting and analyzing consumer feedback.
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar environments.
- Programming knowledge in R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar languages for statistical computing and data analysis.
- Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics for deeper analytical capabilities.
- Quantitative research background, either provider-side or client-side, with demonstrated experience translating data into business recommendations.
- Experience analyzing survey data to extract meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with subscription-based business models and streaming industry strategy.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in rewarding talent appropriately. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $93,400 to $125,200 annually. The base salary actually offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the applicant's geographic location, work-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
