Job Summary

As a Full Stack Software Engineer – Data Pipelines and Cloud Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines, cloud applications, and scalable systems that support arenaflex's data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that our data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop robust data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing large volumes of data to support business intelligence and analytics

• Work on cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud to develop and deploy scalable data applications
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on public clouds such as Google GCP and Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with other scrum teams, QA, product, program management, and partner operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data-driven solutions
• Participate in on-call rotations to investigate production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, following arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data models and data visualizations
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on data pipelines, cloud applications, and scalable systems
• Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
• Experience with data storage systems such as relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra)
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
