Job Summary:

As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant, you will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. Your work will directly impact the lives of others, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

* Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion

• Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
• Work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription data
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with changing regulations and best practices
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:

* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

• Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in data entry software
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture

Preferred Qualifications:

* Specialty pharmacy experience

• Call center experience
• Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
• Experience working in a high-production environment

Compensation:

The typical pay range for this role is:

• Minimum: $17.00
• Maximum: $27.90

Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
