Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Aiea, HI. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for entering patient demographic and insurance billing information from documents into an Information System in accordance with departmental procedures, standards, and operational needs. Key Responsibilities

* Enter patient demographic and insurance billing information from documents into an Information System in accordance with departmental procedures, standards, and operational needs

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
  • Verify and validate data for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless data entry and processing
  • Meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex's systems and processes

Essential Qualifications

* 6 months of clerical and/or data entry experience

  • 9,000 keystrokes per hour alphanumeric keying with high accuracy
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare administration environment

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
  • Certification in medical terminology or a related field
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
