Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance while working across a greater team. You will work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient. Additionally, you will be responsible for numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure our patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies.

Key Responsibilities

* Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients

  • Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications
  • Conduct numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies
  • Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information
  • Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education
  • Routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone

  • 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge of generic medications and therapy changes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

* The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.45 per hour
