Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing front-end operations, including scheduling, customer flow, and register management
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including shelf and display maintenance
  • Supervising Service Desk and financial services procedures, including tills, refunds, and phone management
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues to develop their skills and achieve their full potential
  • Resolving conflicts and addressing customer concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including anticipating and recognizing customer needs
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on promotions and sales
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and drive business results
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including adhering to safety procedures and reporting incidents

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • Minimum one year experience operating a cash register in a retail establishment, preferably in a grocery store
  • Ability to accurately count money and manage cash handling responsibilities
  • Adaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
