Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant for our online Education for Empowerment and Inclusion program. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support and engage with students from diverse backgrounds, while working in a dynamic and collaborative online learning environment. Join our team and be a part of shaping the next generation of leaders in the field of education. Assist the lead instructor in creating and implementing lesson plans for the Education for Empowerment and Inclusion program. Monitor student progress and provide feedback on assignments and coursework. Facilitate online discussions and engage with students to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Provide additional support to students who may be struggling academically. Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students from diverse backgrounds. Collaborate with the lead instructor to create and grade assessments. Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Communicate regularly with students and provide timely responses to inquiries and concerns. Stay up-to-date on current educational trends and research to enhance teaching methods. Attend training and professional development sessions to continuously improve teaching skills and techniques. Adhere to and enforce academic integrity policies and procedures. Collaborate with other teaching assistants and faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students. Contribute to the development and improvement of the Education for Empowerment and Inclusion program.
