Participate in departmental and university committees and events. Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve and innovate the English and creative writing programs. Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of English and creative writing. Maintain regular office hours and provide academic advising to students. Evaluate and grade student work, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Assist in the recruitment and retention of students for the English and creative writing programs. Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and research skills. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the university to the community and beyond.
