Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data processing operations. You will be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, reconciling transactions, and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents

  • Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues, test/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
  • Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes

Duties and Tasks

* Review subscription deals or transfer requests

  • Identify and address Client/Advisor amount exceptions
  • Meet regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Resolve issues across BOS and Fund Companies
  • Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
  • Troubleshoot internal/external system improvements or concerns
  • Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
  • Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
  • Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
  • Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in alternate investments

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Familiarity with tax coding and income tax corrections
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in data entry, customer service, or a related field
