Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications
  • Validating the ship-to and replenishment locations of orders with sales and operations partners
  • Ensuring the accuracy of PO (Bill Only, Ship and Bills, GHX, and other future EDI platforms) entry as the front line for data entry
  • Pushing back on incorrect or subpar data submitted by partners
  • Checking and validating the accuracy of incoming surgery product usage cases
  • Developing creative solutions to customer issues and providing phone support for inquiries from sales and healthcare professionals
  • Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Providing proactive updates on order status to accelerate the billing process
  • Supporting the Sales Department by providing answers to questions generated by telephone, emails, and fax
  • Researching responses with sales to ensure accurate information
  • Building relationships with hospital billing specialists and supporting surgery product usage questions to accelerate the billing process
  • Following up to collect purchase orders and clarify discrepancies
  • Supporting Sales Reps in case of product usage pricing or discrepancies

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years' relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Experience as an account representative
  • Familiarity with Oracle

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with EDI platforms and PO entry accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
