About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives – Product Testing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting In-Home Usage Tests (IHUT) for national and international companies. This is a unique opportunity to work from home, earn a competitive hourly pay rate, and gain valuable experience in the product testing industry.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative – Product Testing, your key responsibilities will include:
- Properly documenting In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.)
- Taking care of the product being tested and using it responsibly
- Reading and strictly following the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.)
- Participating in private chat rooms opened by market research firms to discuss the product being tested
- Writing reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project
- Utilizing MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses) for some In-Home Usage Tests projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and curious spirit
- Ability to work 15-25 hours per week and commit to a certain routine
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
- Access to a digital camera or cell phone that takes pictures
- Honesty and reliability
- Good communication skills (an asset)
- 18 years or older
