Responsibilities

As an Experienced Bank Fraud Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Resolving Cardmember Inquiries: Respond to cardmember inquiries regarding fraud or security-related concerns, providing timely and effective solutions to their issues.
  • Verifying Flagged Transactions: Verify flagged transactions and authenticate callers to ensure the security of our customers' accounts.
  • Reporting Fraud: Report accounts as fraud and complete necessary fraud reports to prevent further unauthorized activity.
  • Handling Inbound and Outbound Calls: Handle inbound servicing calls and make outbound calls to verify account activity, ensuring that our customers' accounts are secure and up-to-date.
  • Managing Risk and Customer-Impacting Issues: Manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to management, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need.
  • Ensuring Proper Follow-up or Escalation: Ensure proper follow-up or escalation of accounts based on call outcomes, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ Years of Experience in Call Center or Customer Service: 1+ years of experience in a call center or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Effective Communication Skills: The ability to communicate verbally and in written form is essential.
  • Basic Computer Skills: The ability to operate office equipment such as computers and telephones is required.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:

  • Experience in a Remote Work Environment: Experience working in a remote work environment is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Fraud Prevention and Detection Processes: Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection processes is a plus.
