The Good and the Beautiful is looking for a motivated individual to assist with projects and improvements related to products, the company websites, and customer experience in general. Essential Functions Product Knowledge Strong familiarity with The Good and the Beautiful products Become familiar with standards and formats on product pages to help ensure consistency across pages Work with current team to update and audit pages and information throughout the website Marketing Ability to help describe and market products on product pages Have an understanding of The Good and the Beautiful typical customers in order to market products successfully depending on level and type of product Use knowledge of Curriculum Development’s goals for each product to create a customer-friendly product page Look at all products across the website with an eye towards marketing and suggest ideas for updates Work with marketing team to keep product pages consistent with marketing pages, emails, and social media Able to take into consideration new releases and how they affect descriptions and pages of current products New Releases Help with creation of product pages for release as needed, including writing product descriptions and frequently asked questions If needed, help with new product releases, including checking links, making quick edits, adding wording and graphics, graphic direction to designers, etc.

Work Environment

This position works in a home office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are between Monday through Friday with the majority of work hours between 9 am and 5 pm. Expected hours: 20-29 per week. As mentioned above, be available early mornings on release days, if needed. Required Education and Experience Extensive experience in product management, copy writing, and marketing. Demonstrable record of product management as well as strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization Strong knowledge of product management principles Proficiency in Shopify preferred Strong knowledge of The Good and the Beautiful curriculum and homeschooling required.
