This is a hands-on, influential role where informatics expertise directly impacts quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Accountabilities

• Analyze clinical and operational workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and translate findings into optimized EHR and health IT solutions.
• Design and support functional system configurations and enhancements aligned with clinical best practices and safety standards.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical users and technical teams to ensure effective solution design and implementation.
• Lead or support complex informatics projects, including system implementations, optimizations, and adoption initiatives.
• Conduct workflow observations in clinical settings to assess real-world usage and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support training, change management, and user adoption efforts across healthcare teams.
• Contribute to data-driven decision-making by analyzing workflow data, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure system design aligns with functional architecture, security, and healthcare compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in clinical or healthcare informatics, including workflow analysis, gap analysis, usability assessments, and system optimization.
• Strong background working with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
• Experience applying informatics principles (people, process, technology) to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or support complex healthcare IT projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clinicians, executives, and technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and process redesign in healthcare environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Clinical background or licensure (for applicable roles such as RN) preferred and must be maintained if required.
