Lead Early Childhood Educator - Montessori Program

Our client, a nurturing and progressive educational institution committed to fostering holistic child development through the Montessori philosophy, is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Early Childhood Educator. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to guide and inspire young learners and contribute to curriculum development from the convenience of your home. You will be responsible for creating an engaging, stimulating, and supportive remote learning environment that adheres to Montessori principles. This role demands creativity, a deep understanding of child psychology, and the ability to connect effectively with young children, parents, and colleagues in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement age-appropriate, Montessori-aligned lesson plans and activities for young children (ages 3-6) within a remote learning framework. Create a stimulating and organized virtual classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and self-directed learning. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and providing individualized support. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child's development, learning experiences, and classroom activities. Foster a positive and inclusive learning community, promoting social-emotional development and mutual respect among children. Adapt Montessori materials and methodologies for effective use in a remote setting. Collaborate with other educators and administrators to enhance the overall educational program. Maintain a safe and healthy remote learning environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Utilize various digital tools and platforms to deliver engaging virtual instruction and maintain parent communication. Provide guidance and support to parents on how to best support their child's learning at home. Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and Montessori pedagogy. Lead virtual parent workshops or information sessions as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Montessori certification from an accredited institution (e.g., AMS, AMI). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably within a Montessori setting. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and manage young children in a remote or virtual environment. Strong understanding of child development stages and Montessori principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Proficiency in using educational technology and virtual collaboration tools. Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by childcare regulations.
