Job Summary
As a Cloud Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying large-scale data processing systems on the Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with clients, product management, and engineering teams to develop and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients extract insights from their data, drive business decisions, and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement large-scale data processing systems on the Google Cloud Platform
- Develop and deploy data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using Hadoop, Spark, and other big data technologies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and develop customized solutions
- Work with product management and engineering teams to design and develop new features and products
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to clients to inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in on-site client visits to deliver solutions and provide training
- Utilize video conferencing tools for remote meetings, technical reviews, and on-site delivery activities
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4-year certification in Software Engineering, Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data processing and analytics, including experience with Hadoop, Spark, and other big data technologies
- Experience coding in Java, C++, or Python
- Dynamic US Government Top Secret/SCI Trusted status
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data mining
- Experience building multi-tiered high-availability applications with modern web technologies
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing large-scale data systems in virtualized environments
- Experience managing client-facing projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with design, sales, services, and clients
Skills and Competencies
* Strong understanding of data processing, analytics, and machine learning concepts
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in programming languages, including Java, C++, and Python
