- Identify
- Manage the ongoing and ad hoc business analysis requests from partner teams, using data science to support a deeper understanding of online customer behaviors.
- Develop industry leading data visualization and insight generating capabilities, inclusive of managing the day-to-day relationship with site analytics providers Quantum Metric and Google Analytics.
- Act as a business partner to help develop strategy through data driven analytics and insights.
- Utilize GA4, Quantum Metric, and internal sales data to identify customer behavior and opportunities.
- Evaluate site traffic, visitor behavior, and conversion paths to help improve site design and customer adoption.
- Ideate and analyze A/B testing results along with optimization activities defining journeys and marketing tactics that are aligned to or accelerate achievement of business objectives.
- Provide insights around key performance indicators such as customer activity and sales trends.
- Scope business analytics needs, define data structures needed for reporting, locate data sources and identify solutions for data automation.
- Analyze cross-channel, customer, and transactional data to determine the value of marketing efforts across all trackable customer touchpoints.
- Utilize disparate data sources (SQL data warehouse, Tableau, Cognos, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, Similarweb, and others) to provide timely and accurate recurring and ad-hoc reports.
- Leverage data modeling techniques to deliver meaningful insights by developing and maintaining Data Studio and/or Tableau dashboards across digital analytics.
- Visualize data to make insights easy to consume for non-technical audiences.
- Partner with the Sales
- Develop and deliver reporting to Executive leadership.
- Support sales
- Assist with customer/sales data mining to provide actionable insights leadership.
- Utilize Excel, Tableau, Cognos, and other tools to rapidly develop data models.
- Develop product market share analysis.
- Participate in geospatial analysis for market targeting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong analytics skills, attention to details, and professionalism.
- 8-10 years of experience in digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and Quantum Metric.
- Previous experience providing site analytics for a major eCommerce site (Top 50 retailer or B2B preferred).
- 1-2 years of direct people leadership.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in web analytics programs such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, or Quantum Metric.
- Advanced experience with excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros, etc.).
- Working knowledge / understanding of data warehousing and relational databases.
- Experience mining data from ERP systems.
- Tableau Desktop experience preferred.
- Awareness of agile/scrum.
- Ability to communicate clearly at various levels within the organization.
- Up to 10% travel may be required (Training, conferences, workshops as needed).
