Position Overview We are seeking ambitious, results-driven Business Development professionals to join our team and help scale our Technology division nationally. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and working closely with our delivery team to ensure high-quality candidates are matched with client needs. You’ll represent The Planet Group as a trusted partner, helping organizations solve short-term challenges and meet long-term strategic goals through top-tier talent.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to generate leads and close new business Build and manage relationships with hiring leaders and key decision-makers at client organizations Drive all aspects of the consultative sales process including prospecting, client presentations, contract negotiations, and account growth Collaborate with the delivery team to align candidate submissions with client needs and ensure timely interview coordination Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technology needs to maintain a competitive edge Work cross-functionally with other Planet Group sales teams to expand service offerings and identify upsell opportunities Work independently and exercise independent judgment in the determination of engaging, developing and maintaining suitable clients Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 2–5+ years of new business development experience in technology staffing Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed sales targets Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the confidence to engage senior-level stakeholders Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability A driven, self-starting attitude with a desire to succeed in a commission-driven environment Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
