Data Analyst (Secondment - 12 Months)
About the position The Data Analyst position offers the opportunity to contribute within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with U.S. Logistics Managers at Pfizer, supporting data-driven reporting and dashboard development for visual management and informed decision-making throughout the Logistics organization. Responsibilities include developing analytic reports that address critical business queries and delivering insights into Colleague, Site, and Network performance across North America Logistics Operations. This role requires a proactive individual adept at addressing complex analytic challenges, with demonstrable expertise in large dataset analysis. Strong communication and consulting abilities are essential for conveying findings and recommendations clearly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust reports and dashboards utilizing data repositories to monitor Logistics KPIs and initiatives.
- Identify key performance metrics and design tracking mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of Logistic activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that operational execution is aligned with business objectives and facilitate team meetings to support departmental needs.
- Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques on substantial datasets to uncover trends, facts, and potential opportunities.
- Partner closely with Management and US Logistic Sites to ensure analytics efforts are consistent with broader strategic goals, fostering effective collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years ofexperience; OR a master's degree with more than 1 year of experience;OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high schooldiploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability in managing day-to-day planning and operational responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in R, Python, Excel, SQL, and analytical platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the capability to translate complex data into accessible insights for various audiences.
- Proven collaborative approach, results orientation, strong work ethic, and an aptitude for managing multiple priorities efficiently.
