The Opportunity
As a Customer Services Representative, you'll have the flexibility to balance your time between our Remote office and home. This is an exciting opportunity to:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers
- Resolve customer issues, offer solutions, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Inspect and maintain university-owned properties, including vehicle gates and parking facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed
- Collaborate with vendors, student workers, and other teams to achieve department goals
- Participate in special events and provide support as needed
The Qualifiers
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment; 2 years of experience preferred
Expertise:
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills + Ability to communicate effectively in English + Valid CA driver's license required + Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills + Analytical skills and ability to take initiatives
