Title: Retail Promotions & Marketing Coordinator Location: Waukesha United States Job Description: Position Summary This is a fast-moving, hands-on role that supports the setup and execution of sales promotions and store events. Some days are heavily logistical and focused on organization, communication, coordinating moving parts, and ensuring promotions are executed accurately. Other days involve setting displays, organizing signage, supporting promotional content, or helping bring a polished and visually organized touch to store execution. The right candidate brings creativity into a fast-moving logistical environment, balancing fresh ideas with strong execution, communication, and follow-through. This position works closely with the Marketing Director and store teams and requires someone who is proactive, dependable, organized, and comfortable communicating with both associates and customers in a professional and approachable way. Primary Responsibilities Organizing, distributing, setting, and removing promotional signage and marketing materials Helping set up and execute monthly promotions, displays, and special events Conducting in-store walkthroughs to ensure promotions are accurate, organized, and properly displayed Coordinating promotional materials and helping keep projects on schedule Updating, organizing, and compiling monthly promotional reports Communicating regularly with store teams to help ensure promotions are executed consistently across both locations Assisting with event setup, demos, and promotional weekends when needed Helping bring promotions and events to life through clean, polished, and visually organized execution Supporting signage updates, simple design projects, promotional content, photography, and social media projects as needed Interacting with customers during promotions and events in a fun, helpful, and professional manner Requirements & Skills Comfortable working hands-on in a retail environment Strong organization and attention to detail Excellent communication and follow-through Someone who is comfortable interacting with team members, leadership, vendors, and customers Ability to manage multiple moving parts and changing priorities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while staying connected with the team Someone who notices the small things and takes pride in execution Comfortable in a hands-on retail environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Basic computer skills and comfort using Google Workspace or similar programs Experience with Canva, Adobe programs, photography, social media, merchandising, or visual displays is a plus - but not required Schedule & Availability This position supports both TNT Ace Hardware locations, with the primary work location based in Waukesha. Occasional travel to our Delavan store is required, typically about once per week or more during larger promotions and events. Reliable transportation and the ability to work between both store locations is required. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling based around promotions, projects, and store events. Most hours are during the week, but occasional evenings or weekends may be needed depending on sale dates and events.
