Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pharmacist in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer system, adhering to provincial regulations and safeguarding patient confidentiality.
  • Support the Pharmacist in the physical filling of prescriptions by retrieving stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing medications under direct supervision, while following strict safety and security protocols.
  • Prepare third‑party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accurate accounting entries using arenaflex’s computerized system.
  • Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies, ensuring compliance with product storage procedures and industry standards.
  • Manage over‑the‑counter (OTC) product inventory, align stocking activities with the merchandising plan, create product signage, and conduct roaming checks to maintain optimal shelf presentation.
  • Provide remote data entry for prescriptions originating from all Ontario arenaflex Pharmacies, guaranteeing consistent data quality across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to assist in other operational areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team‑first mindset.
