Job Summary HR Service Jobs is actively seeking a technically skilled and self-driven Freelance IT Support Technician to provide remote technical support for our global client base. As a freelance technician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve IT-related issues for various businesses and professionals, all from the comfort of your own home. This is a client-facing position requiring excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-platform technical expertise. Whether you are assisting a startup with basic desktop issues or helping a mid-size company manage its cloud systems, each day will bring unique challenges and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues through remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Zoom).
  • * Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner via chat, email, or video call.
  • * Troubleshoot issues related to Windows, MacOS, mobile devices, printers, routers, and basic server setups.
  • * Install, configure, and update software applications as required.
  • * Document solutions and maintain detailed service logs.
  • * Escalate advanced technical issues to senior IT professionals when necessary.
  • * Maintain confidentiality and security of client data and systems.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * Proven experience in technical support or IT helpdesk (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • * Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic network troubleshooting.
  • * Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, cloud storage platforms (Google Drive, OneDrive), and remote desktop tools.
  • * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • * Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • * Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
  • Experience
  • * At least 1 year of experience in IT support, remote helpdesk, or a similar freelance/contract position.
  • * Experience supporting clients remotely is highly preferred.
  • * Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Working Hours
