Job Summary The Programmer will be assigned job assignments to configure the STARS application. They will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation. The candidate will code enhancements and develop required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards of the GenTax system. The tool set will include C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio. The candidate will execute the required steps for implementing SQR change requests in the FAST Gentax system and tracking changes in the Fast Central Repository (FCR) following the project standards. They will coordinate their work with other software developers. They will participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs. The execution of all their responsibilities will be with little direct supervision of a team leader. These services are essential to improve efficiency and accuracy of tax processing. Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of programming experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with one of the following FAST ENTERPRISES, LLC technology systems: Gentax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE
  • Experience with Fast Core components
  • C#
  • PostgreSQL
  • Visual Studio
